Refunds

The short version

• Not downloaded, within 14 days — full refund, no questions, no explanation needed.
• Already downloaded — no refund. A downloaded file cannot be given back, and pretending otherwise would just push the price up for everyone.
• Broken, corrupt, or not what the page described — fixed straight away, or refunded in full, download or no download.
• Charged twice, or charged after cancelling — refunded in full, always.

Why download matters

Bowl Club sells digital content, so the usual 14-day cancellation right for online purchases works differently. In the UK, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, that right ends once the download of digital content begins with your agreement. Buying here is that agreement, and this page is the notice of it. Bowl Club tracks whether each file has been downloaded, and uses that — not your word against mine — to decide a refund.

Consumer guarantees in Australia (Australian Consumer Law) and New Zealand (Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) still apply in full: if a file is faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for its described purpose, you are entitled to a remedy whether or not you downloaded it.

Bowl Club Monthly

• Cancel any time from your membership page. Cancellation stops the next charge and takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for.
• If you cancel in the first 14 days of your first month and have not downloaded any drop, the first month is refunded in full.
• Past months are not refunded once their drop has been downloaded — that month was delivered.
• If a calendar month goes by with no new drop published, that month is refunded. Ask, or I will do it unprompted when I notice.

How to ask

Email info@bowlclub.store from the address you paid with. Include the Stripe receipt number or the checkout reference from your confirmation page if you still have it — it makes this a two-minute job instead of a hunt.

Refunds are approved or refused within two working days, and go back to the original card through Stripe. Your bank usually shows the money within five working days. There is no restocking fee, no admin charge, and nothing is deducted.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, email first. A chargeback costs both of us money and takes weeks; a refund takes minutes. I have never refused a fair refund request and do not intend to start.
