Who you are buying from
Bowl Club is run by Tokyo Bowl Club, a sole trader based in Tokyo, Japan, trading as Bowl Club. Contact for anything at all, including complaints: info@bowlclub.store. Emails are answered within two working days, usually sooner.
What you are buying
Digital printable files in PDF format. Nothing physical is sold or shipped. Bowl Club does not sell food, drink, alcohol, knives, cookware or any other physical product, and does not prepare or deliver meals. Ingredients described in the files are bought by you, from your own suppliers, at your own cost.
- Ramen Night Kit — $19.00 one-time. Four PDFs: the nine-page kit, plus print-ready singles for the table menu, the place cards and the two art pages.
- Bowl Club Monthly — $9.49 per month. One new printable drop per calendar month, published on the 1st, available from your membership page for as long as your subscription is active.
Page counts and contents shown on the site are accurate at the date above. Files may be improved over time; you keep access to the current version of anything you have bought while your entitlement lasts.
Prices, currency and tax
All prices are in United States dollars (USD). Your card issuer handles any currency conversion and may add its own fee, which Bowl Club does not receive and cannot refund. Where sales tax or VAT applies to your location, it is calculated and shown in Stripe Checkout before you confirm payment.
Payment
Payments are taken by Stripe. Bowl Club never receives or stores your card number. A charge appears on your statement as Bowl Club or as Tokyo Bowl Club. Your order is complete when Stripe confirms the payment; at that point your download unlocks.
Delivery
Delivery is a download, not an email. The confirmation page shown immediately after payment carries links to your files, and those links can be reloaded at any time from the same page while the checkout reference is valid. Subscribers get a permanent membership page instead, holding every drop published while they are subscribed.
If a download fails, is corrupt, or you lose your link, email info@bowlclub.store from the address you paid with and it is sent again at no charge.
Subscriptions
- Bowl Club Monthly renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from your membership page, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the month you are in.
- After cancelling, drops you have already downloaded remain yours to keep and print. Your membership page stops showing new drops.
- If a month passes without a new drop being published, email me and I will refund that month’s charge. That is the deal — a subscription with nothing in it is not a subscription.
What you may do with the files
- Print as many copies as you like, for as many of your own dinners as you like.
- Cook for guests, including guests who pay you for a meal, using the guidance inside — the recipes and methods are yours to use.
- Print copies for a household, a flatshare, or one supper club you run yourself.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or give away the PDF files themselves.
- Upload them anywhere public, including file-sharing sites and social posts of full pages.
- Sell printed copies of the pages as a product, or include them in a product you sell.
- Use the artwork, layouts or text as your own, or in anything generated for resale. Copyright stays with Tokyo Bowl Club.
Refunds
Digital goods have their own rules, set out in full on the Refunds page. In short: 14 days if you have not downloaded, no refund once a file has been downloaded, and anything broken gets fixed or refunded regardless.
Food, allergies and your own judgement
The kit is hosting guidance, not a food safety certificate. You are responsible for the ingredients you buy, how you store and cook them, and for asking your guests about allergies and intolerances — the place cards have a line for exactly that. Cook to the temperatures and practices required where you live. Bowl Club is not liable for the outcome of a meal you cooked.
Availability
This is a small shop run by one person. Pages, prices and products may change, and checkout may occasionally be unavailable. Orders already paid for are always honoured.
Your legal rights
Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live. In the United Kingdom that includes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; in Australia the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law; in New Zealand the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a term here conflicts with those rights, those rights win.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the right to bring a claim in your own country’s courts where the law gives you that right.
